The House Judiciary GOP claimed on Tuesday evening that a whistleblower has come forward and alleged that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has notified U.S. Border Patrol agents that they will be terminated if they do not receive the coronavirus vaccine.

The House Judiciary GOP said in a tweet, “Whistleblower alleges that Border Patrol agents have been given official notice that they must be fully vaccinated by November 2021 or face termination.”

“As the brave men and women of U.S. B0rder Patrol work tirelessly to respond to the Administration’s manufactured border crisis, we have learned that the Department of Homeland Security has threatened to fire Border Patrol officials who refuse to comply with President Biden’s vaccine mandate,” Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Tom McClintock (R-CA) said in a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “Your failure to support these federal law-enforcement officials will only make the Biden border crisis worse and make our country less secure.”

"We sounded the alarm when we should have," Panamanian Foreign Affairs Minister Erika Mouynes told Axios , expressing frustration over the Biden administration’s lack of preparation for the wave of Haitian migrants that recently hit the U.S. southern border.

After making a big show of sending 2,276 migrants back to Haiti earlier this month, the Biden administration let the rest of the 15,000 migrants living in a shantytown under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, into the country. The vast majority of these migrants were not even given a court date, just a Notice to Report obliging them to check in with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in whatever city they end up in.

By letting the vast majority of Haitians reach their intended destination in the United States, President Joe Biden’s open border policies are only encouraging more migrants to come. And many of them come through Panama along the way.

"When we receive them on the Panamanian side, they're malnourished. The children are in terrible condition, so even getting them up to a healthy state takes time," Mouynes told Axios. "Let's recognize that they all are heading toward the US," Mourynes continued.

Border Patrol agents have discovered nearly two dozen illegal aliens inside water drainage systems in multiple Texas cities in recent days, according to reports.

Migrants were caught moving through sewers in Hidalgo and Brownsville this week, and some were pulled through manholes onto the street.

“NOT SO SECRET passages uncovered in two south Texas cities,” Rio Grande Valley Chief Patrol Agent Brian Hastings tweeted on Wednesday.

“Smugglers continue to use dangerous tactics to move migrants across the border.”

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) says agents discovered footprints leading to a drainage pipe in Brownsville on Tuesday.

“The Brownsville Fire Department was requested and responded to assist. Three migrants were apprehended as they exited the drainage system,” CBP explained in a statement.

Texas state officials are preparing for a group of 60,000 Haitian migrants attempting to enter the US illegally.

The group, if it remains this large, could potentially be the largest to ever attempt to cross the southern border.

According to a report from the Washington Examiner, “the number of Haitian migrants headed to the U.S. could be four times the size of the group that made it across in Del Rio last month, leading to chaos as 15,000 people camped out under an international bridge waiting to be taken into federal custody.”

State and local enforcement are not allowed to arrest illegal aliens for immigration crimes, but they can arrest them for trespassing. Governor Greg Abott has said that he has readied the Texas National Guard to do just that.-- excerpt, rest at link above --

Amid a record surge in illegal immigration that has followed a reversal of Trump administration policies, the chief of the Border Patrol union says he's never seen morale so low among his colleagues.

Brandon Judd, who began his career under President Bill Clinton, charged in a radio interview that President Biden used the manufactured controversy over border agents on horseback to "deflect attention from his failures."

"I've never seen the morale any lower than it is right now," he said.

"When you have a president who is willing to throw his employees under the bus for doing what he ordered them to do, that’s crazy," Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, told FM Talk 106.5 in Mobile, Alabama.

"He's completely and totally failed the American public," Judd said of Biden. "And because of that, he had to find a scapegoat."

What appears to be a killing field used by a Mexican drug cartel has been discovered just south of Mexico’s border with Texas.

“The characteristics of the place allow the inference that it is an extermination site that has been used for years and until very recently, which will have to be confirmed by experts,” said a statement by Mexico’s National Search Commission, according to the Associated Press.

“This is the first site of these dimensions found in Nuevo Laredo,” the statement said.

The body dumping site was used by the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas, according to Breitbart.

The area is near the Nuevo Laredo-Monterrey highway, which has been the site of numerous “disappearances since 2012,” the commission said.

In June, three members of a Texas family were kidnapped in the region, according to Breitbart.

Continuity Global Solutions CEO Jerry Torres shared his insight on the rise of cartels at the border with Sara Carter. According to his experience as a defense contractor and documentarian, immigrants aren’t leaving their countries because of the cartels, but for the economic opportunity.

“I’ve met with our special operations forces,” Torres told Carter on the latest episode of The Sara Carter Show. “They have been training on the El Salvador and Special Operations folks, and I met with the deputy director of their their special ops folks there. And they said there’s no MS-13 here. There might be pockets of them here and there in small neighborhoods, but they pretty much wiped them out.”

Yet, the Biden administration considers the treat of MS-13 a pillar of their lax immigration policy. Instead, Torres says they’re not a threat at all. The locals actually get along fine despite the organized crime. “They’re not in fear of their country, they’re not in fear of the police, they’re not in fear of MS- 13. They just want a better life,” Torres said. “And the thing is, is if you take a look at what they’re claiming asylum, well, asylum is not for economic reasons.”

AUSTIN, Texas — In a dive into new political and legal water, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has initiated the first-ever border security operations in which thousands of National Guard troops — newly imbued with civilian arrest authority and given 40 hours of traditional police training in the use of deadly force — have started handcuffing illegally entering migrants on state trespassing charges.

Small-scale soldier arrest operations began quietly this week as an unprecedented addition to the state’s ongoing “Operation Lone Star” in close physical coordination with a pre-existing border surge of some 1,000 Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers concentrated in Val Verde and Starr counties, but also expected to happen elsewhere. Abbott has been signaling for weeks that he was preparing a more aggressive use of the National Guard.

Texas DPS Director Steven McCraw confirmed to the Center for Immigration Studies that the first of some 3,000 policing-trained National Guard soldiers to be deployed over the next six weeks have begun filling gaps in the line, making arrests and turning their detainees over to DPS officers who will do the investigation and charging.

“Nobody’s ever really used the guard before in this capacity,” McCraw said. “We’re going to use them to actually secure the border. The governor, the legislature, and the citizens of Texas have made it very clear; they want the border secure. It is good for our federal partner as well.
