Texas GOP Chair Comes Out In Favor Of TEXIT Vote

Lieutenant Colonel Allen West, Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, took on the issue of a TEXIT referendum on the Chris Salcedo Show and expressed his support for the vote.

In the lead up to West�s remarks, Salcedo mentioned that there are several Democrat-led initiatives to add states to the union. Salcedo wanted West�s take on the TNM�s current push for putting the issue of Texas independence on the ballot.

West stated that while he has previously said that Texas should remain in the union, he understands why more Texans are ready to see Texas reassert its status as an independent.

�The people here in Texas have a right to voice their opinions on a critical issue that they�re facing right now,� West commented.

He went on to explain HB 1359, the Texas Independence Referendum Act and reinforced the case that the TNM�s been making that it should be up to the people to decide. Citing the Texas Constitution, he made it clear that issues of this magnitude belong in the hands of the people and not just the elected class.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has ordered all branches of the military to enact a �stand down� within the next 60 days so they can address supposed internal threats posed by white supremacy and other forms of extremism.

�The Pentagon on Wednesday said it was still uncertain how to grapple with the problem of extremism in its ranks and announced a military-wide pause to allow troops and commanders a chance to focus on the issue,� NBC News reported Wednesday. �Lloyd Austin, the first Black secretary of defense who recently took over at the Pentagon, ordered each branch of the military to stand-down at some point over the next 60 days to discuss the threat posed by white supremacy and similar extremism, said Pentagon press secretary John Kirby.�

Austin gave the order on Wednesday during a meeting with the leaders of each military branch, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley and Vice Chairman Gen. John Hyten. �There wasn�t one being in the room that didn�t agree that there wasn�t a problem,� Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said.

Announcing the pause to the press, Kirby said the breach on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 served as �a wake-up call� for the Department of Defense. �Current and former members of the military took part in the siege-- excerpt, rest at link above --

Is there any connection between musings of secession and the Texas Bullion Depository in Leander? I think it's the only state-run facility of that type in the US.

I'm intrigued by the idea of basing a banking system on the electronic transfer of title to something real. Bitcoin, but instead of nothing but geeks behind the currency, gold.

Fun fact - there are theories that gold came from something called rapid neutron capture in supernovae, and there is also a theory gold was created by rapid neutron capture in the collision of neutron stars. Some physicists speculate the entire inventory of gold in the universe is a few times the mass of our sun. A lot, but the universe is a big enough neighborhood nobody is really all that rich.

Another fun fact - the asteroid Psyche is thought to contain hundreds of quintillions of dollars of metal, including gold. It's got so much gold, some mathematicians speculate you could buy enough lottery tickets to maybe get a winner. Maybe. The lottery is always a long shot.

Ouch. When I hear Biden talk about the wave of white supremacy sweeping the nation, it hurts.

Nuts walk among us, you can't argue that. Some of them are bigots. That isn't a wave of white supremacy.

Let's be real, too, regarding this supremacy stuff. I once had the distasteful pleasure of frank discussion with an actual member of the Klan.

There was nothing supreme about the man. He was a moron. Far less than 500 miliwits, which is a nerd's way of saying he was less than a half wit.

He was useful only as a paperweight for one end of the bell curve to give Mensa a place to play on the other end.

Intellectual discourse was less a conversation and more like playing chess with a pigeon who kicks over the pieces, soils the chessboard, and struts off pretending victory.

The problem wasn't that he'd been dropped on his head as infant, the problem was he wasn't dropped on his head hard enough. Truly a worthless human.

In a nutshell, libs hate the United States. They believe it was a bunch of white supremist racists that destroyed the red men and created this country based upon white supremacy.

So all history we have, all the laws we have, are all the result of racist actions. Since the white supremists made the laws, they are required to be dissolved, and all whites need to be subjugated.

Until this is better understood by John Q Public, we will see effective stripping of freedoms and wealth from the majority of Americans by the elites, who unfortunately have the power to execute these actions until they are met with a forceful resistance.
