Conservative TV host Tucker Carlson says the NSA has been spying on him 'for political reasons'

Tucker Carlson during his Monday night Fox News program asserted that the National Security Administration has been spying on him.

Carlson said that a whistleblower inside the government has warned that the NSA is surveilling electronic communications and planning to leak the material in an effort to get his show removed from the air.

"The whistleblower, who is in a position to know, repeated back to us information about a story that we are working on" which must have been procured though "my texts and emails," according to Carlson. "There's no other possible source for that information, period. The NSA captured that information without our knowledge and did it for political reasons. The Biden administration is spying on us. If this pans out – and there is good reason to suspect it will – the deepest end of the deep state will be caught breaking the law and interfering with what remains of the free press.

Monday night’s edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight, the highest rated program on cable news, featured a shocking short segment (video below) in which the host stated that a whistleblower had revealed that “The NSA is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off air.”

He added that the whistleblower had provided details about a story the show was working on that could only have come from examining his personal emails and texts. The segment is less than two minutes long and worth viewing:-- excerpt, rest at link above --

This is a carefully drafted denial by the NSA (likely coordinated by NSA leadership), as there are three separate “allegations” within Tucker’s quote. To this we ask a key question: which “allegation” is untrue?

• Is it that the NSA has been “monitoring [Tucker’s] electronic communications”?
• Is it that the NSA “is planning to leak” Tucker’s communications?
• Or is it that the NSA will try to take Tucker’s show “off the air”

This is a great example of how the Intelligence Branch of the U.S. government now operates. Not only did the NSA conduct surveillance of Tucker Carlson’s electronic communication, but the NSA also leaked Carlson’s emails to allied intelligence media (Axios, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post) who operate as PR firms on behalf of the Intelligence Branch.

CNN: Tucker Carlson 'furious' at Fox News execs for not defending his NSA spying claims

Fox News host Tucker Carlson is reportedly "furious" with Fox News executives for not "backing him up" over his allegations that the National Security Agency (NSA) was spying on him.

"Tensions are sky high," a source familiar with the matter told CNN, according to a report published Monday.

According to another source, Carlson has "always had tension with" the higher-ups at Fox, but in light of his recent claims, he is "extra pissed."

However, the popular prime-time host denied the claims that he is upset with Fox management in texts to CNN.

"I'm not mad at anyone at Fox," Carlson wrote. "If I was, I'd say so. I'm mad at you for lying relentlessly. What a loathsome person you are. Please print that."

In a statement to Axios last week, a Fox representative told the news outlet: "We support any of our hosts pursuing interviews and stories free of government interference."

Citing someone he referred to as a "whistleblower from within the U.S. government," Carlson claimed in June that he and his show's producers had been informed that the NSA was “monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air."

It looks to me like CNN via The Hill created this story to minimize Carlson's claims without actually saying so.

It is hard to tell which is worse? CNN or The Hill, both shameless and vile propaganda outlets....

Fox News political commentator Tucker Carlson was confronted on Friday at a fly-fishing store in Livingston, Montana, by Instagram user Dan Bailey, who posted a video of the encounter to his account, according to Slate and HuffPo.

“Dude, you are the worst human being known to mankind,” Bailey said to Carlson in the video. Carlson repeatedly replied, “I appreciate that.”

As Bailey began to challenge Carlson on the impact of his views, Carlson whispers, “Settle down, son.” Bailey tells Carlson not to call him a son before the video ends.
