Rep. Jim Jordan has put President Joe Biden and his Justice Department on notice days after FBI agents conducted an unprecedented raid on the residence of a former president.

The Ohio Republican, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, told Fox News host Trey Gowdy, a former GOP lawmaker from South Carolina, that some 14 FBI whistleblowers have come forward following the raid a week ago on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla.

During a conversation about alleged politicization at the Justice Department, along with former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, Jordan made the case that the public has “figured it out” when it comes to what he characterized as the Left generating a lie, the “Big Media” reporting the lie, Big Tech amplifying the lie, and then both piling on Republicans when they catch on and say something. He said there are agents in the bureau who have realized the same.

“Fourteen FBI agents have come to our office as whistleblowers, and they are good people,” Jordan noted. “There are lots of good people in the FBI. It’s the top that is the problem. Some of these good agents are coming to us, telling us what is baloney, what’s going on — the political nature now of the Justice Department — God bless them for doing it — talking about the school board issue, about a whole host of issues.”

Around two months ago, Jordan told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that a half-dozen agents had approached his committee regarding a controversial order from Attorney General Merrick Garland for the FBI to begin monitoring parents who showed up to local school board meetings angry about divisive curriculum and sexually explicit materials in libraries. Appearing on Fox News, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio said there are 14 FBI whistleblowers who have come forward following raid of President Donald Trump’s private home in Mar-a-Lago.

“Fourteen FBI agents have come to our office as whistleblowers, and they are good people,” Jordan said. “There are lots of good people in the FBI. It’s the top that is the problem.”

“Some of these good agents are coming to us, telling us what’s going on, the political nature now of the Justice Department, talking about the school board issue, about a whole host of issues,” Jordan continued.

This isn’t the first time that FBI agents have come forward. Earlier this year, Jordan said two FBI whistleblowers brought him inside information about the school board memo that labeled parents as “domestic terrorists.” Another four FBI whistleblowers provided details about the January 6 breach at the Capitol.

“It’s becoming a well-worn trail of agents who say this has got to stop, and thank goodness for them and that the American people recognize it, and I believe they’re going to make a big change on November 8,” Jordan quipped Sunday, obviously referring to the 2022 midterm elections behind-the-shed ass-whoopin’ the Dems are expected to incur in 72 days (but who’s counting?).

FBI whistleblowers have come forward to Congress to describe improper politicization of investigations ranging from the Jan. 6 riots to more than two dozen parents who were probed as domestic terrorists for objecting to local school board policies, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee says.

"I anticipate more coming forward," Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told the "Just the News, Not Noise" television show on Monday night. "I've never seen anything like this. I mean, truly, it seems like every other week we're hearing from someone."

Jordan said his legal staff has heard from a total of 14 FBI whistleblowers so far, and all are raising the same concern about the bureau's conduct. The agents are "emphasizing just how political things have gotten," he said.

"We've had them on the school boards issue. We've had them concerning Jan. 6," Jordan said. "Agents are being pressured to label and categorize all cases as domestic violence, extremism."

Jordan said the first whistleblowers emerged last fall after the National School Boards Association sent a letter to the Biden administration comparing parents who protested at school board meetings to domestic terrorists.

Five days later, the FBI was directed by the DOJ to investigate the threats being made against the school boards.

The whistleblowers have provided a more complete picture to congressional investigators since, revealing that at least a dozen cases were opened against parents in the aftermath of the school board controversy.

"The first one came late last fall, when this guy came forward and said, 'Yeah, this is what's going on,'" the congressman recalled. "And he talked about this memorandum that was sent out to U.S. attorneys, and then we had a whistleblower come forward and talk to us about what the FBI had sent out where they use this threat tag designation, and subsequent to that, on just that issue, we've had a whistleblower talk to us about the over two dozen cases where parents were investigated."

Jordan said the whistleblowers were playing an essential role, creating a check and balance against the bureau's law enforcement powers to ensure that they weren't being weaponized for political purposes.-- excerpt, rest at link above --
