UNREAL: Lori Lightfoot Blames Chicago Business Owners for Looting, Says Stores ‘Not Doing Enough’

The radical Mayor of Chicago viciously blamed store owners and private businesses for rampant looting this week; saying some are “not doing enough” to stop ‘smash-and-grab’ robberies that are plaguing the Windy City.

“I’m disappointed that they’re not doing more to take safety and make it a priority. We still have retailers that won’t have security officers in their stores, making sure that they’ve got cameras that are actually operational,” said Lori Lightfoot.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez faced a growing backlash from retailers across the country Monday after she denied the rise of “smash-and-grab robberies,” bizarrely asserting the “data didn’t back it up.”

“A lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not actually panning out,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.
