Los Angeles Police Attacked With ‘Rocks,’ ‘Bottles,’ and ‘Smoke Bombs’ While Trying to Clear Out Homeless Camp By Jack Phillips March 25, 2021 Updated: March 25, 2021
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were attacked with smoke bombs, bottles, and rocks as they attempted to clear out a homeless encampment at a park, according to video footage and the LAPD.
“Two unlawful assemblies were declared and dispersal orders were issued at Santa Ynez Street and Glendale Blvd due to officers being assaulted with rocks-- excerpt, rest at link above --
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
The brief summary is that homeless people had trashed the park, had to be cleared out for clean-up and refurbishing, and rioted with the support and participation of activists. This is what the City of LA earned through decades of tolerating druggies, the mentally ill, and bums and their trash.
