Criticism from the left was rampant after Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves announced that their states are lifting mask mandates and opening businesses up to full capacity.

Abbott cited advancements in vaccines and medical practices for issuing his new executive order.

�We must now do more to restore livelihoods and normalcy for Texans by opening Texas 100 percent,� he announced.

He added the order ensures �that all businesses and families in Texas have the freedom to determine their own destiny.�-- excerpt, rest at link above --
