Ted Cruz on Masks & No Travel Even After a Vaccine: “This Is A Bizarre, Lunatic, Totalitarian Cult”

This week, Dr. Vin Gupta, a health policy analyst for NBC News, said on MSNBC that even after people get their 2nd dose of vaccine, they should STILL wear a mask and avoid travel until everyone is vaccinated. Ted Cruz did not appreciate that suggestion.

Rep. Jim Jordan had a similar comment.

We have come a long way from a two-week lockdown to stop the spread, haven’t we? We’ve had lockdowns. We’ve closed schools. We’ve driven small businesses under. We’ve prevented people from going to work. We’ve told people not to see sick loved ones in the hospital, not to travel, to stay away from gyms, from barbershops, and from gatherings with families — but has any of it worked?

Yesterday, the biggest COVID-19 hotspot in America was California. There were more than 35,000 cases there. That is nearly 16,000 more cases than the #2 state. California was the first state in the nation to have a lockdown. They’ve had a mask mandate in place since June. They’ve consistently had some of the tightest restrictions in the country since the beginning and guess what?
