On Thursday, Dan Bongino, a Fox News contributor and nationally syndicated — and often controversial — radio and podcast host, announced he was no longer working with Fox News.
The former New York City police officer and U.S. Secret Service agent announced he was leaving Fox during his Thursday podcast. Bongino explained that recent contract negotiations broke down.
The popular host had previously threatened to quit Fox News over their vaccine mandate.
Bongino said: “I really enjoyed myself there. They were good for me for 10 years. It’s a sad day. They did give me the opportunity to do one last show; I don’t want you to think they showed me the door. That’s on me, not on them, but I thought it was best to go this way for now.”
Fox News issued a brief statement: “We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors.”
Bongino hosted Fox News’s successful Saturday evening “Unfiltered” show. His “Canceled in the USA” show ran on the subscription-based Fox Nation.-- excerpt, rest at link above --
