Classified documents that emerged at a Biden-aligned think tank last year reportedly featured intelligence on topics like Iran, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

Ten documents were recovered at President Joe Biden's private office at the think tank in November that were dated from 2013 to 2016 and are believed to have originated from his days as vice president, sources told CNN. The documents that bore classified markings were mixed with private materials such as Beau Biden’s funeral arrangements, per the report.

Biden declined to comment on the classified documents when pressed Tuesday morning, but Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president, argued that the president was complying with the proper authorities.

"Since that discovery, the President's personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives," Sauber said in a statement, emphasizing that the documents were not part of any "previous request or inquiry."

Considering how the Biden family syndicate, specifically Hunter Biden, was deeply enmeshed in the Ukraine energy sector via Burisma Holdings and the family interests as an outcome of the vice president using his influence to sell U.S. policy therein, it would seem that Joe Biden was securing classified documents favorable to his corrupt financial interests.

Those classified Ukraine documents were then transferred to the Penn-Biden office facility. “The documents were discovered when Mr. Biden’s personal attorneys “were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C.,” Sauber said in a statement to CBS News.” (link)

It would make sense the documents would be related to corrupt U.S. government activity as it relates to the use of foreign policy for financial gain. The similarity of purpose between the Biden syndicate and the Clinton syndicate are similar, and Joe Biden was previously Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, prior to Barack Obama selecting him as the 2008 VP nominee.

What the Senate Intelligence Committee (SSCI) is to the CIA and Intelligence Community, so too is the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to the U.S. State Dept.

This larger aspect would also explain why the people in/around Joe Biden selected Anthony Blinken as Secretary of State and Jake Sullivan (former Clinton aide) as National Security Advisor. Both Blinken and Sullivan are skilled bagmen familiar with the process of selling U.S. foreign policy for their principals, Joe and Hillary.

If the House begins peeling back the layers of the Hunter Biden laptop, eventually they will find evidence of Joe Biden selling foreign policy as a method for personal financial gains. The trail has been very well documented in the lead-up to his run for higher office. It would make sense the classified documents relate specifically to this aspect of the Biden crime syndicate.

A number of classified documents related to Ukraine, Iran, and the UK were discovered by a personal lawyer to President Joe Biden in a private office he used during his work for the University of Pennsylvania, according to CNN on Tuesday, citing several sources familiar with the matter.

The discovery, made just days before the midterm elections, was immediately reported to the National Archives and Attorney General Merrick Garland has been briefed a number of times about the ongoing investigation into the matter by Chicago-based U.S. Attorney John Lausch Jr., one of the few holdovers from the presidency of Donald Trump.

The Tuesday report said investigators have discovered “10 classified documents including US intelligence memos and briefing materials that covered” a variety of topics related to those countries, CNN noted, adding that Garland now “faces the critical decision on how to proceed, including whether to open a full-blown criminal investigation.”

CNN adds:

The classified documents were dated between 2013 and 2016, according to the source familiar. They were found in three or four boxes also containing unclassified papers that fall under the Presidential Records Act.

The vast majority of the items in the office contained personal Biden family documents, including materials about Beau Biden’s funeral arrangements and condolence letters, the source told CNN. It is not clear if the boxes with classified documents contained personal materials.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has assigned the US attorney in Chicago, a holdover from the Trump administration, to investigate the matter, CNN previously reported. Garland made this move after receiving a referral from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

CNN noted further that the documents were discovered six days before the midterm elections, on Nov. 2.

“After making contact with NARA, Biden’s team turned over several boxes in an abundance of caution, even though many of the boxes contained personal materials, the source said,” CNN reported.

Biden has denied any knowledge that the classified documents were in his possession.

“I was surprised to learn there were any government records that were taken there to that office,” Biden said in response to a reporter’s question during a news conference in Mexico City, as he attended a meeting with Mexican and Canadian leaders.

The documents, the president said, were found in “a box, locked cabinet – or at least a closet.”

“People know I take classified documents, classified information seriously,” he said.

Meanwhile, Trump — whose Mar-a-Lago estate was raided by dozens of FBI agents in early August ostensibly for possession of classified documents — responded to the news on his Truth Social platform.

“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified,” Trump claimed.-- excerpt, rest at link above --

A stash of classified and top-secret documents, some with the “sensitive compartmented information” designation, has just been found at Joe Biden’s private office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania and, just breaking, at least one additional batch has been found at other locations.

Unfortunately, the administration that boasts “Highest Standards of Transparency” has not condescended to say where the new stash has been found, the peasants having no right to know. Quite surprisingly (or maybe not), the reaction to this from just about everybody in what passes for our “news” media was completely different from the reaction to Trump’s classified and top-secret documents at his guarded compound in Mar-a-Lago, which was raided last August. In Trump’s case no distinctions, no qualifications, no nuance needed to be considered. Trump was guilty of putting our national security at risk. He’s going to get us all killed!  

Michael Beschloss, a “presidential historian” with no history degree and a dependable virtue-signaling Democrat party groupie, suggested that Trump deserved the death penalty for retaining classified documents. Former CIA Director Michael Hayden, who has been accused of lying to Congress, agreed, saying, “sounds about right.” CNN’s Laura Coates, atypically at a loss for words, said she simply does not know what to say about “the seriousness of [Trump’s] threats to national security.” Carl Bernstein, who was fortunate to be standing beside Bob Woodward when the latter brought down Nixon, said that Trump “has played fast and loose with American national security." Nicole Wallace, who used to pretend to be a Republican until MSNBC made her an offer she couldn’t refuse, described the situation as a national security crisis. Joy Reid of MSNBC was deeply upset with the “extreme risk Trump was willing to take with our national security” and so on. Biden himself, prompted by Pelly’s invitation to trash Trump, was very clear that there could be no excuse whatsoever for a president’s taking classified documents when they left office. 

Quite surprisingly, once Biden was found in possession of classified and top-secret documents, all sorts of excuses have suddenly materialized.

There were not as many classified documents found in Biden’s possession. 
Biden’s lawyers voluntarily disclosed the existence of the documents after they found them rummaging through his closets at the University of Pennsylvania, in an amazing coincidence, just before the Republicans were predicted to take over the House and just after the November 2022 election had been concluded. 
Biden did not know anything about the documents and is, therefore, as innocent as a new born babe (or a senile octogenarian). 
Biden has been instructed by his lawyers not even to ask what is in the documents so he can maintain his blissful ignorance, for which he seems to have a peculiar knack, and what passes for our “news” media readily agreed to that request (almost as if they are “an arm of the Democrat Party”).  

Unfortunately, none of these arguments are convincing.

Today, counsel to President Biden revealed that classified documents were found in Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware residence.

This is the second batch of classified materials that were taken by Biden in 2017 - the first being those found at the Penn-Biden Center. Here’s the relevant part of the statement of Richard Sauber, Special Counsel to President Biden (highlights are ours):

“Following the discovery of government documents at the Penn Biden Center in November 2022, and coordinating closely with the Department of Justice, the President’s lawyers have searched the President’s Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, residence - the other locations where files from his Vice-Presidential office might have been shipped in the course of the 2017 transition. The lawyers completed that review last night.

During the review, lawyers discovered among personal and political papers a small number of additional Obama-Biden records with classified markings. All but one of these documents were found in a storage space in the President’s Wilmington residence garage. One document consisting of one page was discovered among stored materials in an adjacent room. No documents were found in the Rehoboth Beach residence.”

This statement follows reporting that Attorney General Merrick Garland has assigned the U.S. Attorney in Chicago, John Lausch, Jr., “to review” these documents. The FBI is “also involved in the U.S. Attorney’s inquiry.” Lausch is a hold-over from the Trump Administration, one of the few U.S. attorneys not forced to resign during the transfer of power. In the past, he reportedly helped the DOJ speed up the processing of documents “in response to a House Judiciary Committee subpoena that related to the FBI’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.”

What should we make of these latest developments?

First, Biden’s attorneys are conducting these searches of Biden’s residences to show the DOJ that their cooperation is full and transparent. These are steps done to avoid the potential for any type of subpoena. Biden is convincing his own Justice Department that a search will not be necessary. Attorney General Garland will undoubtedly agree, despite the fact that there must be a full investigation of this issue that must include an interview of Biden himself.

Second, there’s been some speculation that this is part of an effort to throw Biden under the bus. Not seeing it. There’s bigger issues where Biden is more vulnerable, namely corruption.

Third, to state the obvious - yes, there is a double standard. Yes, the Biden DOJ subjects Trump to standards that Biden himself can’t maintain. Yes, Biden’s homes won’t be raided. Yes, there won’t be inaccurate leaks from Biden DOJ about what Biden’s classified documents contained. In other words, yes, it will be business as usual.

Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., joined 'Fox & Friends First' to discuss the Biden classified documents controversy and his think tank's possible ties to China. 

A former top aide to President Biden — who reportedly was questioned by federal investigators as part of the probe into the president's handling of classified documents — exchanged emails with Hunter Biden on numerous occasions, according to a Fox News Digital review.

Kathy Chung, Biden's executive assistant when he was vice president and the Pentagon's current deputy director of protocol, is among several former aides to the president to be interviewed by law enforcement, NBC News reported Thursday. Chung and the others questioned reportedly helped move materials and belongings from Biden's office at the end of the Obama administration in early 2017.

Throughout much of her five-year tenure working for Biden during the Obama administration, Chung regularly communicated with Biden's son Hunter Biden, transmitting information about his father's schedule and passing messages directly from the then-vice president, according to emails obtained from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop and verified by Fox News Digital.

Chung's relationship with Hunter Biden also appears to date back before she worked for his father.
